A simple phone conversation with Nicholas Sparks’ Digital Marketing Director, looking for solutions to patch issues on an antiquated infrastructure, led to a complete overhaul and rebuild of the site’s architecture. We also used the opportunity to modernize the overall current design to focus on his most recent publication, Dreamland as well as giving Nick’s overall branding a refresh.
Objectives
While the core objectives were to architect and build a stable environment along with giving Nick an updated contemporary logo, we also focused heavily on a more robust event calendar to display details to upcoming signings, book readings, and other events. The pages of the individual publications were also enhanced to include additional features for Nicholas Sparks’ fans to download audio excerpts read by Nick, downloadable PDF excerpts, and mini featurettes about the making of each novel and corresponding film, when associated.
